Taking a Big Leap!? /?

Change is one of the toughest issues that most people are facing in their day to day lives.?Most of the people resist change that is imposed upon them and see changes as more troublesome?than its worth.?It is a struggle not only in an institution where management wants to pursue a change that aims to bring sweeping, or even subtle changes. This requires an?ongoing?consultation process with the staff, so that any changes have their support before they are implemented.

??????????? As we are facing the new era of the English Language Studies, we are catering numbers of students who are?embracing?the great challenge of globalization. Teachers’ great role is to facilitate and not to impose changes. Students need to learn and enhance their skills in the English language, some are sent by their companies and some are of their free will. Going abroad to study English is the first step of these people who want change.

To keep up?the fast changing world of the English language studies, Business English Course?started its Skill Assessment Practice in all subject areas. It gives teachers a hard time to balance time and effort in preparing their teacher-tailored skill assessment guides. Despite the busy and full schedules, teachers were able to make it with the full guidance of their Business English Course coordinator, Mr. Garrick Nehls. I salute you?all?guys!

Effective communication has more to do with listening than other things. ?For someone to be able to comprehend fully well; one has to give his one hundred?percentattention, focus and dedication to the topic and not merely just lending an ear or discerns?only the part of his interest. ?Such in the case of IELTS listening, if your goal is to get a high band score, then don’t just be satisfied with aiming high but do your part. ?It takes one’s will and passion to succeed.

In Merriam-Webster Dictionary, this word means, first, a promise to do or give something; second, ?a promise to be loyal to someone or something;?and lastly which is my favourite, the attitude of someone who works very hard to do or support something.

?I am proud to say that the teachers in TOEIC?Philinter?have?this?commitment. ?We have the attitude to teach and help our TOEIC students to achieve their goals. ?We make our best efforts to support their needs individually.

In return, we hope our students do the same for themselves. ?They should commit themselves in learning the TOEIC course since it is a serious course. ?Teachers need their focus and attitude so we both can achieve our dreams. ?Our dream for the students?is to improve their English skills and?their dream is to get their target scores. ?I believe that when?both?parties have the commitment, then it is?very?easy to reach our dreams.
