ENGLISH DAY SPORTFEST

                             ATTENTION:

The sportfest venue wil be at Mactan airbase in a NEW FULLY RENOVATED SPORTS GYM. everyone will be expected to join the activities this coming Friday (January 30, 2009) at 2:00 pm. Jeepney for transportation is available at 1:30 pm at the dormitory.

        

Speaking Test Description

DESCRIPTION: This test is used to provide students with ample knowledge of the words utilized in the article. The test may use topics such as health, science, technology, general information, current events, etc. Students will read and explain by summarizing the topic selected. Students must have an idea about the topic/article they have read and demonstrate their understanding.

INTRUCTIONS: Students will have to read the article out loud. The teahers will determine the student’s pronunciation and information skills. Scores will be marked on the score sheets and teachers will ask questions.

The questions will be divided into three pars: Technical, Vocabulary, and Opinions. Teachers will score the students based on vocabulary, how well they understand the article, grammar.

progress test information(jan 30, 2009)

I. The progress test is on January 30, 2009 at 8:30 am.

II. Information

1. As students enter the school, Information Teachers (Yen, Tiny ad Neva) will provide a permit slip.

2. After 9:30 am ther won’t be any clerance slips to be distributed. Be sure to come early to be able to take the test.

3. There are five areas:
   1) Listening, 2) Reading and Vocabulary, 3) Grammar, 4) Speaking 5) Writing and Structure. Students must take all the areas according to their desired order.

When students are doen with all the test, the permit slip must be returned to the information teachers.

Later, teachers will post the anser key on the bulletin board.

:: 필리핀에서 호주행 케세이퍼시픽 이용팁(화물중량 할당관련)

감사합니다.
저는 1월17일 필인터에서 호주로 넘어온 학생입니다.
케세이퍼시픽을 이용하는 과정에서 몇가지 도움 될 수 있는게
있을까 싶어서 글남김니다.

많은 학생들이 연계 연수시 화물무개 때문에 고민을 많이 하는데
저같은경우 수화물용 캐리어하나랑 기내용 캐리어 하나 그리고 노트북
가방으로 짐을 꾸렸습니다.
학원 저울을 어느정도 맞는것 같습니다.(제기준입니다)
공항에 도착해서 티켓팅하면서 수화물짐을 맡기실때
기준이 20kg이지만 25kg까지는 그냥 봐준다고 합니다.(케세이직원말)
그런데 전 32가 나와서 책먼저 버리고 정말 버릴 수 없던책은
기내용가방과 노트북 가방으로 옮겼습니다.그래서 옆에 있던
저울에 확인해보니 약 27kg정도되서 가져 가보니 그냥 넘어가 줬습니다.
그리고 출국장으로 갈때 기내용 가방을 또 검사하는데 다른 사람은
그냥 보내더니 저만 잡혀서 또 확인해본결과 10kg이었습니다.
7kg으로 만들라고 해서 노트북가방에 좀 더 넣고 또 노트 몇개 버리니
그래도 2kg이 초과 됬습니다. 그래서 그냥 그만큼 무개의 책을꺼내서
손에 든상태로 다시 들어갔습니다. 가방은 7kg 통과. 그리고
손에 든 책은 별말 안했습니다.통과 후 공항세 내고 손에 들었던책
다시 가방에 넣고 호주까지 갔습니다.

그리고 공항세는 아직 안올라서 550패소 입니다.

요약

2.기내용 화물 7kg 이하 (초과시 꺼내서 손에 들고들어갈 수 있음)
3.노트북가방 중량검사 안함.

상기 내용은 제가 격은 일이며 어떤 친구들은 수화물이 30kg인데도
그냥 통과한 사례도 있고 추가금액을 지불한 사례도 있습니다.
그리고 노트북 가방 중량도 잰 사례도 있었으며 기내용은
확인안하고 그냥 통과한 사람도 있다고 들었습니다.
많은 변수가 있으니 아무쪼록 참고용으로만 사용하세요
