My name is Vincent from Vietnam. In my 2 months of studying in Phililnter, I can say that my English skills have improved. Moreover I have met new friends who are not only Vietnamese but also other nationalities like Japanese and Taiwanese. Thank you to all my teachers and friends because they correct my sentences if I make mistakes, so I can now speak English better. Thank you also to the staff as they are friendly and helpful.

I decided to study in Philinter, after doing some research on the Internet. I found out that this school is well-known for its highly qualified teachers and systematic curriculum. Then, I enrolled in the IPS course which is a unique speaking course that boosts students’ speaking skills dramatically in a short period of time. I personally felt that applying English in practical situations like in a workplace and real life is essential, so I wanted to improve my speaking skills more than anything.
I took nine classes, five of which are one-on-one, two small group classes, and two big group classes. I think this system is really effective since it provides students the chance to directly communicate their thoughts. The classes are quite convenient since the teachers are always trying to encourage and motivate us to use the language in a more proper way. Studying in IPS helped me apply my theoretical knowledge about the language to real-life speaking environment.
Overall, I learned many speaking strategies to make my responses more organized and effective. I felt the gradual improvement in my spoken output and it made me more confident whenever I speak with others using English. I know, I still have a long way to go in improving my skills but the time I spent studying in Philinter was time well spent for me. All the memories with my friends and my teachers are memories I will cherish forever.

“Constant correct practice makes your speaking skills perfect!”

I think the ACE Course is very nice because there are good teachers in Philinter and one of them is my buddy Teacher Aina. She is very passionate in teaching English, especially in our Speaking Class. I actually had 10 classes every day. Sometimes, I was a little bit confused because there wasn’t enough time to reset my brain for the next classes. With this, I recommend that the break time should be 10 minutes in between the classes because it will refresh the students’ mindset and activate their communication skill effectively. This course is perfect for students who want to enhance their English well.
Overall, I have learned a lot in speaking, listening and pronunciation. It’s wonderful to have many one-on-one classes. ACE has helped me improve my abilities in speaking confidently in a short period of time.

STUDENT REVIEW _ PHOEBE of IPS

11292017-Phoebe

After staying for two months in Philinter Education Center, I have realized that enrolling in this school is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

To be honest, I’ve known about the Philippines from my university teacher in Vietnam. She has studied in Philinter before for two months as well. After researching the information about learning English in the Philippines, I chose this school for it is known as one of the best ESL institutions in Cebu. They don’t only offer IPS (Intensive Power Speaking) Course, but they also have Business English Course which I really need to focus on.

Having been here for some time, I can say that everything is just perfect for me. The teachers are dedicated, professional, as well as considerate. They are always willing to answer my queries and explain in full details until I understand the lessons completely. Aside from this, many teachers have great sense of humor and they teach us in a funny way, so I can absorb the new vocabulary in class without difficulties. Moreover, they also give me advice not only about school life but outside of it as well. I sincerely appreciate everything they have done for me.

Apart from studying, I also had the chance to befriend students coming from Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, China and more. We all have spent such unforgettable experience with each other in visiting gorgeous beaches in Cebu, enjoying the fresh air and tasting popular local foods.

I will keep these memories in Philinter as part of my youth. Thank you so much for providing me an ideal environment to study and improve my English skills.

Review Intensive IPS

Philinter helped me to improve my English skills. I have stayed here for 8 weeks and took up an IPS course. I chose IPS because I want to focus on my speaking skills. Honestly, my English was not so bad but I have a problem in my communicative skills. I do not have enough confidence to communicate with others because I am thinking that I could not give them the detailed information. However, because of the efficient curriculum in Philinter, I can say that it really helped me to improve my speaking skills.

?

Each student has 10 classes a day, one on one and group classes. Based on my experience in one?on? one classes, I can say that the teachers are very helpful and kind. They really help their students to learn something, give students a freedom to express their opinions and mostly assist the students’ performance carefully. In addition, the teachers in small group classes are very funny and they encourage us to communicate in a comfortable way.

?

In conclusion, I would like to say thank you to all of my teachers because they helped me improve and my level now is higher than before. It was a great and an unforgettable moment for me to study in Philinter.

Although this is my first time to study abroad, I really enjoyed my days in Philinter.

For me, I think the most impressive thing about the school is the teachers. They are interactive, funny, and optimistic.

This is something that I find very different from the teachers we have back home.

These teachers have the ability to influence more than your English skills. In fact, they taught me on how to be more open-minded and mature.

The course that I chose was ACE, which puts more emphasis on speaking and listening.

The reason I chose ACE is because it has the most intensive schedule among all the courses offered by the school.

I find it suitable for students like me, who are only staying for 2 weeks at most.

There are 10 classes in a day (6 one on one classes, 2 big group classes, and 2 small group classes). With my course, I was able to learn as much as I possibly can and I even noticed the improvements in my English skills.

So, I strongly recommend you JOINUS. It is important to learn English the right way.

Hello everyone!
I’m William and let me tell you a wonderful dream…
This year, I had a chance to go abroad to study English. After considering many ESL schools, I chose Philinter Education ? the best English center in Cebu.? It proved to be a great choice for me. Everything was perfect including teachers, friends, quality of education, and the campus dormitory.
All the teachers are enthusiastic and professional in teaching English. I was there for 2 months and I took 2 different courses: General ESL for 1 month and Basic Business for another month.? In ESL course, I was able to enhance my skills a lot especially speaking and listening because we had to communicate in English all the time. Somehow, some teachers called me “Talkative boy”.? In Basic Business, I learned how to become a businessperson. I had to pass many exams at the end of the course such as Socializing, Hosting a meeting and Reporting. I was primarily motivated by my teachers and thanks to that, I could get high score.
I was so happy to make many friends from different countries. We made many memories that I will never forget. If you choose to go to Philinter and study, your stay will not be purely for studying. In fact, there are a lot of places you can enjoy in Cebu.? I would recommend taking the time to visit Kawasan Falls, Oslob, Camotes Island and Nalusuan Island.
It was my wonderful dream. Do you want to have the same experience?

Philinter Life

I studied in Philinter a year ago. So, this is my second time in the school. I have to say that it is a relief to come back to a place that holds so much memory. For over a year, I was able to use the teachings Philinter imparted to me. It had been really useful. However, my desires to learn more and become better lead me to the school that helped me improve once again. This time, although I did not stay as long as I did on my first time, I still learned a lot.
Even though there are new teachers, the quality with which the school prides itself still has not changed. The teachers are still great at their job. The environment is still as conducive to learning as before, if not more. The students in Philinter are from different countries, so we are really encouraged to speak English in order to communicate with each other in and out of the class. In a way, this helped us improve our English skills through practice. Even with that as a barrier, everyone is very nice.

Thank you so much, Philinter!!

“Philinter Life”
By: Student Ris

I am Risa Haginoya or “Ris”. I am Japanese. On my first day, I felt anxious because I couldn’t speak or understand English. For me, this means that I could not talk and communicate to my teachers. In fact, in my first speaking exam I scored zero points. Because of this, I am always scared to talk to foreign people especially when the medium for communication is English. However, I soon found out that my worries were pointless because my batch mates and friends in PHILINTER helped me practice my English skills. I had Japanese and Korean friends at that time who were kind enough to help me.
During my stay, I also got to enjoy and unwind every now and then. I have been to Nalusuan Island, Oslob, Kawasan Falls, Camotes Island and Bohol Island. Each place is more exciting than the previous one. I had good memories in those trips. It was a fun way to earn friends and practice speaking English.
Also, PHILINTER has very fun teachers. It’s always fun to talk to them. When I was down, they cheered me up and sometimes, I even get to share my problems with them. To an extent, some of my teachers became my closest friends during my stay at the school.
I studied in PHILINTER for three months and I was able to understand and converse in English much better than I used to because of my teachers and friends. All I want to say is that all students can improve their English skills just as I did. Experiencing life in the Philippines is a good step to improve your English skills. Thanks to my teachers and friends.
