This course offers a stable and effective curriculum for those who have no prior experience with the IELTS exam. CURRICULUM FEATURES

    âś“ A total of 16 weeks program, 4 weeks of ESL + 12 weeks of IELTS: Based on many years of experience, we present you with the most effective way to acquire IELTS.
    âś“ Intensive ESL (first 4 weeks): Daily 9-hour course. Develop sufficient basic English skills before taking IELTS.
    âś“ IELTS Intensive (for the next 12 weeks): Daily 10-hour course. First, general IELTS classes to acquire IELTS 6.0. Afterward, tight and in-depth classes will be held to obtain IELTS 6.5.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

It is a series of processes to acquire IELTS 6.5 at Philinter Academy. This program can be summarized as follows:

To get a high score on IELTS, you need to strengthen your overall basic English (Building Basic Stamina in English), acquire IELTS 6.0 based on our education manual (Building IELTS 6.0), and then you can acquire IELTS 6.5 with our professional teacher and intensive study-method (Building IELTS 6.0).

Pre-intermediate English level is required for admission. To get a high score on IELTS, this period of strengthening your English basics is essential! You can achieve an Intermediate (IELTS 4.5-5.0) level in just 4 weeks of study! Start studying to obtain a full-fledged IELTS score!

Achieve IELTS 6.0 or equivalent English level in 6 weeks of study!

It’s a challenging task to increase the IELTS score from 6.0 to 6.5 within 6 weeks, with strict classes and a heavy study load.

  • Word Smart – A class that focuses on developing students’ vocabulary skills by introducing and teaching new words and phrases. This class aims to have students learn and master approximately 500 words per month.
  • Grammar for Writing / Speaking– A class that teaches essential grammar rules like verb tenses and sentence structure to improve accuracy in both speaking and writing.
  • Writing – A class that helps students organize ideas and write clearly for different contexts, such as essays, reports, and creative writing.
  • Listening – A class designed to enhance comprehension of spoken English. Students learn to understand different accents and speech patterns, improving their ability to follow conversations and respond appropriately.
  • Speaking – A class focused on improving fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in speaking. It helps students express ideas clearly in both casual and formal conversations, tailored to their specific needs.

  • Listening Power – Intended to enhance students’ listening comprehension skills, focusing on both every day and academic listening tasks.   • Premium English – This class of up to 15 students focuses on the forms, functions, and application of formal English in all aspects of language proficiency, particularly in speaking and conversation.
  • Business Idioms – A class that teaches students common idiomatic expressions used in the business world, helping them understand and use phrases that are essential for effective communication in professional settings.
  • News and Trends – A class that focuses on improving students’ language skills while using current news and trends as a central part of the curriculum.

Evening Study (Review)

Time for a specific topic or mission, consisting of class/self-study/discussion, etc. It is held for 2 hours after school, and attendance is compulsory from Monday to Thursday.

  • IELTS Common Mistake – A lecture-based group class tackling different common mistakes of students in taking the four macro-skills.
  • IELTS Vocabulary – An intensive vocabulary class focused on teaching necessary and common words used in the IELTS test.
  • IELTS Grammar – An intensive grammar class focused on teaching necessary and common structures used in the IELTS test.
  • IELTS Weekly Test Review – A lecture-based group class presenting the correct answers and explanations for the IELTS weekly mock test skills.
  • IELTS Pronunciation – A class focused on correcting pronunciation errors and improving clarity for the IELTS Speaking test.
  • IELTS Listening – An intensive one-on-one listening class targeting the different question types and the specific test-taking weaknesses of students.

Evening Study (IELTS MISSION)

Time for a specific topic or mission, consisting of class/self-study/discussion, etc. It is held for 2 hours after school, and attendance is compulsory from Monday to Thursday.
Academic Counseling is also provided.

  • For this course, you must pass the ADMISSION INTERVIEW regardless of whether you have an official score or not.
  • To pass the interview, an English level equivalent to IELTS 3.5 is required.
  • We only deal with the IELTS Academic Module. Please understand that we do not handle the General Module and UKVI.

Placement Test

Every Monday. An initial consultation is provided right after the exam, followed by the school orientation in the afternoon.


Weekly Test

Weekly tests covering (1) Grammar for Speaking (2) Pattern English, (3) Usage of Verbs, (4) Essential Vocabulary are conducted every Wednesday at 5 p.m. and last for 20 minutes.


Progress Test

Once a month every Friday to assess the monthly progress. Short-term students (less than 1 month) may not take the test.


IELTS Mock Test

It is conducted weekly, and participation is mandatory. Held every Friday evening and Saturday morning.


IELTS Official Test

As an IELTS-certified test center designated by the British Council, tests are conducted on the campus.

Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations.
501 + Can reformulate ideas differently in order to ensure that people understand exactly what is meant, eliminating the possibility of misunderstandings. Also, has a good command of a broad vocabulary, including collocations and idiomatic expressions; Can overcome gaps in vocabulary with alternatives. Can consistently maintain a high degree of grammatical accuracy; errors are rare and difficult to spot. Can express myself fluently and spontaneously, almost effortlessly.
501 Can express fluently and spontaneously, except occasionally, when speaking about a conceptually difficult subject. Has a good command of a broad vocabulary. Can sometimes have to search for expressions but can then find alternatives to express what he/she wants to say. Maintains a high degree of grammatical control in speech and writing.
