We Go Beyond English

PHILINTER’s differentiation comes from how happy and satisfied our students are.
CAN I KNOW THE PROCEDURE FROM CONSULTATION TO ADMISSION?

Enrollment in PHILINTER ACADEMY is only possible through an agent. Therefore, please decide the entire process from consultation to registration through consultation with the agent.

DO I NEED TO APPLY FOR A VISA TO ENTER THE PHILIPPINES?

Most nationalities can enter the Philippines without a visa. Visa-free for 30 days.

After arriving in the Philippines, you can apply for a visa extension. For student convenience, the school acts as an agent for immigration affairs.

However, Chinese/Taiwanese nationals must obtain a visa before entering the Philippines. Chinese nationals must apply for a 30-day visa, and Taiwanese nationals can choose between a 30-day or 59-day visa (students studying for more than 8 weeks).

DO I HAVE TO APPLY FOR SSP?

SSP (Special Study Permit) is a kind of student visa, and all students studying in the Philippines must apply for it.

You cannot apply for SSP individually. ESL schools approved by the Philippine Immigration Service must apply directly to the Immigration Service. Of course, PHILINTER is officially approved.

SSP is valid for 6 months. Therefore, if the study period exceeds 24 weeks, you must reapply for SSP.

If you change schools, you must reapply for SSP at the new school.

AFTER PAYING THE TUITION, ALL I NEED IS POCKET MONEY WHILE STUDYING ABROAD, RIGHT?

The cost of studying in the Philippines is largely divided into the following three categories.

  • TUITION: Including tuition, accommodation (dormitory), and meals
  • LOCAL FEE
  • PERSONAL POCKET MONEY

Here, LOCAL FEE consists of payment to the immigration office, textbook fee, electricity bill, accommodation deposit, etc.

  • Philippine Immigration fee: VISA, SSP, ACR I-Card fees, etc.
  • Textbook fee
  • Electricity bill
  • Water bill
  • Maintenance fee
  • Accommodation deposit: returned upon graduation

Your LOCAL FEE varies depending on your study period. Please note that the agent will guide you during the consultation.

HOW DO I MAKE A TEACHER RESERVATION?

PHILINTER operates a “teacher reservation system” as part of customer service.
The selected teacher will later become one of your one-on-one teachers. Please refer to the teacher page on the website and apply and memo the teachers you want at the time of registration.

Note:

  • Teacher reservations are limited to a maximum of 2 teachers.
  • Teacher reservation service may not be fulfilled due to sudden illness, leave, or retirement of a teacher. In this case, the school has no obligation to notify the customer (student) in advance.
  • The service is not available for junior/primary/guardian courses, camps, and short-term study abroad for 1-3 weeks.
