Accordingly, PHILINTER ACADEMY aims to enable ‘collaboration (mutual curriculum exchange)’ in managing these two courses.

Purpose:

For those who want to learn both business and TOEIC for reasons such as employment or promotion.

To Whom:

Students enrolled in TOEIC Regular, Advanced Business, Focus Industry, and Basic Business courses.

How to Change Curriculum:

Students can change the curriculum between TOEIC and Business for a maximum of 1 hour of one-on-one class and 2 hours of a small group class. For instance, an Advanced Business student can convert a 1-hour business one-on-one class to a TOEIC class.

Exceptions:

– You cannot apply for the PRESENTATION CLASS of the Advanced Business course.
– You cannot apply for Focus Industry’s ELECTIVE CLASS.
– TOEIC GUARANTEE students are not eligible for the above.

TOEIC MISSION helps students master what they have learned in regular classes and addresses any gaps in their understanding. We also offer guidance on practice test strategies.

Monday to Thursday: 19:00 – 21:00

– Exclusively for TOEIC Guarantee students

Complementary to Regular Classes:

Students can seek clarification on class content and attend additional classes to enhance their understanding. This approach contributes to improving TOEIC skills and overall academic performance.

TOEIC Test-Taking Strategies:

Students receive instruction on more effective test-taking strategies, time management skills, and techniques to manage the stress associated with the TOEIC exam. This preparation can lead to improved performance on the official test.

Feedback and Evaluation:

TOEIC MISSION teachers monitor students’ progress and work to address their weaknesses through regular consultations. This process significantly contributes to building students’ confidence.

HOW FAST CAN I IMPROVE MY SCORE IF I ENROLL IN THE TOEIC COURSE?

The rate at which you can improve your TOEIC score varies depending on your current level of English proficiency. Here’s an estimate of score improvement based on different starting levels:

  • If your English level is below 450 in TOEIC, you can anticipate an improvement of approximately 150-200 points per 4 weeks.
  • If your English level is below 600 in TOEIC, you can expect to improve your score by 100 to 150 points per 4 weeks.
  • For those with a score of 750 points and above, the rate of score improvement may be reduced.

On average, beginners or those with English proficiency below 450 can achieve a TOEIC score of 850 within approximately 12 weeks of dedicated study and practice.

HOW LONG IS THE STUDY PERIOD FROM IELTS 5.5 TO IELTS 7.0?

The study period to improve from IELTS 5.5 to IELTS 7.0 typically takes around 24 weeks when taking the IELTS Intensive course.
Here is the breakdown:

  • First 12 weeks to improve from 5.5 to 6.5
  • Then even another 12 weeks to improve from 6.5 to 7.0.

However, if you opt to choose the IELTS Score Guarantee, the total study duration can be reduced to 16 – 20 weeks.
