All students seeking IELTS courses must be interviewed before and after registration. The purpose of the interview is for the student to perform effectively in the IELTS class and to obtain a satisfactory score after studying.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
You can easily apply for the IELTS interview.
- Even if you do not register, anyone can take the test for free. Please contact your agent.
- The interview time is between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
- The interview will be conducted within 48 hours of application. Please tell us the date and time you would like.
- Using ZOOM or SKYPE, it takes about 20-25 minutes.
The interview assesses the student’s skills in all areas of IELTS.
- Conducted by one of PHILINTER’s IELTS teachers.
- For IELTS Intensive and Junior IELTS courses, an English level equivalent to IELTS 3.0 is required.
- For the IELTS score guarantee course, even if you have an official score, you must pass the interview.
- IELTS 5.5 Guarantee: English proficiency of IELTS 4.0 or higher
- IELTS 6.5 Guarantee: English proficiency of 5.5 or higher
- IELTS 7.0 Guarantee: English proficiency of 6.5 or higher
- The 8-week score guarantee course is judged rather strictly.
A report card will be issued immediately after the interview.
- The report card indicates “Pass”, “Fail”, or “Conditional Pass”.
- If your English level is judged to be difficult for you to take the IELTS course correctly, you will be diagnosed with a “Conditional Pass”. This means you can start IELTS after completing the ESL Intensive course for 2-6 weeks.
- If your level of English is too low or does not meet the level of English required for the IELTS Score Guarantee course, you will receive a “Fail”.
