The following information is for new students regarding shopping malls and stores within walking distance from the school/dormitory.

If you have pesos, you can walk to the shopping mall.

• After leaving the school, turn left and walk for about 5 minutes (approximately 120 meters) to reach Gaisano Mall. Adjacent to Gaisano, you’ll find a Tom & Toms coffee shop and a McDonald’s.

Exchange Currency and Shop Near the School

• After leaving the school, take the jeepney to the right. Please ask the driver or other passengers to confirm that you are headed to MARINA MALL, which is a 3–4-minute drive away (13 pesos).
• In or near Marina Mall, you can find supermarkets, several restaurants, pharmacies, massage shops, Starbucks, and a Japanese restaurant. Additionally, the currency exchange shop is located on the first floor of the nearby Island Central Mall (ICM).

At Island Central Mall, the Money Exchange Shop on the first floor allows you to exchange money without needing an ID or passport.

Some people want to go on a weekend trip to a tourist destination or resort in the countryside. In the future, we hope you will use a car rental service that includes a driver.

A car rental costs 900 pesos for 2 hours. (Price may vary depending on vehicle type and destination)

We are introducing Aqua Yoga, an excellent way to revitalize your study abroad experience and achieve weight loss goals. We hope you’ll join us every Wednesday, at 19:00 – 20:00 pm only here at Philinter Academy pool.

If you are staying at the Philinter Academy dormitory or Azon Condo, and you need to receive mail or courier deliveries from your home country, please use the following receiver information:

When your mail or package arrives, the delivery man will contact you beforehand. You can collect it at the main gate of the school, at the scheduled delivery time. However, if you are unable to meet the delivery person, you will need to retrieve your delivery from the post office located within Lapu-Lapu City Hall. The post office is just a 10-minute walk away from our school.

Please note that even if the full delivery fee has been paid in your home country, you will still need to pay additional local delivery charges ranging from 100 to 200 pesos.
