My overall experience from ESL to IPS has been extremely positive and rewarding. The program place strong emphasis on communicative competence, critical thinking, and real-life expansion, which has help me develop not only greater fluency, but also clearer and more structured thinking in English. I am specifically, especially grateful for my 1:1 teachers: John, Ina, Abi, Jeff, Ken, and Jun, who consistently provide patient guide, thoughtful feedback, and encouragement. Each of them has unique teaching style, yet all share a strong ability to adapt lessons to my needs. Through their support, I have been more aware of my habitual errors, improved my sentence organization, and learned how to express ideas more precisely and naturally. My pronunciation teacher Shelsa has helped me build a much strong awareness of stress, intonation, and clarity of speech, which has noticeably improved my overall comprehensibility. In addition, my advance listening teacher Daryl, has trained me to process spoken English more efficiently and identify key ideas even in fast or complex speech. My public speaking teacher Harrah has been instrumental in developing my confidence when speaking in front of others, as well as my ability to structure messages logically and deliver them with impact. At the beginning of the course, I struggle with speaking at length and organizing my thoughts under the pressure. However now, I gradually overcome this challenge. Overall, it has significantly strengthened my speaking ability, listening, and confidence. It also has increased my motivation to continue improving my English beyond the classroom.
