I studied in the General ESL course for two months. On the first day, a placement test was given, and classes were arranged to match my level. I had a total of eight classes, and if a class didn’t suit me or I wanted to change the teacher or level, it was easy to do so.
My speaking and listening skills were weak at first, so I asked my teachers to speak more slowly and write questions on the whiteboard. Over time, I was able to understand and speak better. After about a month, I realized that improving my vocabulary was essential to developing other skills. I asked my one-on-one teachers to teach me vocabulary every day, and they kindly did so. I am very grateful for that.
