Lapu-Lapu City Charter Day

Celebrated every June 17, this day marks the founding of Lapu-Lapu City as a chartered city in 1961. It honors the city’s progress, heritage, and its namesake hero, Datu Lapu-Lapu, with civic parades, cultural shows, and local festivities.
