8:00 am to 5:00 pm is considered class time, but if it is a free time when there are no classes, going out is allowed. You can apply for an exit permit at the office and submit it to the main gate security guard.
You are allowed to go out freely after 5pm and on weekends.
Please note, if you want to stay out overnight, there is no problem as long as you get approval from the office in advance.
Class assignment varies depending on (1) the period of study abroad, and (2) the student’s English level. If the study abroad period is 4 weeks or less: Effective academic results must be produced in a short period, so the subjects assigned will be focused on speaking. Grammar, writing, and listening classes are limited to a minimum or taught only in group classes. Mainly, the curriculum includes speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and presentation.
If the study period is more than 6 weeks: Since the study period is sufficiently long, subjects such as speaking, pronunciation, English grammar, writing, listening, reading, and presentation are assigned in a balanced manner. Of course, more than 60% is focused on speaking.
We are open to changing Junior’s subjects and textbooks based on parents’ advice.
Please note that the curriculum does not differ depending on whether the student’s course is PRIMARY ENGLISH or JUNIOR ESL. The operation of the textbook is the same
In the case of child care, some advice is:
Since the country and environment are different, children often experience abdominal pain after changing water. In severe cases, diarrhea lasts more than a week, or you may have to go to the hospital due to frequent abdominal pain. This will greatly hinder your studies.
Therefore, please drink only bottled water (purchased from a convenience store) for at least 2 weeks after admission.
Monitor your child’s academic progress. As a parent, you need to check if you are using textbooks suitable for your child’s level, whether the amount of homework is appropriate, and which teacher your child is not well adapted to. Please forward your requests and suggestions to the manager or BUDDY TEACHER. We will deal with it quickly.
Parents’ monitoring and suggestions make children more diligent in their studies, so PHILINTER always welcomes parents’ suggestions.
Always be careful to prevent accidents. Supervise your child so that they do not run or dive near the pool. Also, please refrain your child from running on the stairs.
If you are going on an activity or trip outside, avoid places that are too cheap when choosing a travel agency. This is because cheaper agencies often lack security guards or other security aspects.
Even if it is light, there should be no skinship with the teacher. PHILINTER’s position is that no physical contact between juniors and teachers is permitted, even if it is on the hands and shoulders. We encourage parents to take an interest in this matter.
Finally, do not allow your child to interfere with other students’ studies and lives. There should be no loud noises or quarrels. Please be quiet in your room after 10 pm.
Except for emergencies or official events, the office does not provide childcare services.
If you are going out for a short time, please ask other parents around you.
For instance,
Parents can go out at any time. It is also good to go out during student class or review time.
