Below are some rules to keep in mind on your stay in PHILINTER ACADEMY. As both Sparta and Semi-Sparta programs are offered in the school, these regulations are in place for the benefit of all students.

Violation of any of these rules may result in a formal written warning, and accumulation of 3 warnings may lead to expulsion.
- Test absence
- Absence from evening programs (Review, IELTS/TOEIC Mission)
- Causing disruptions or disturbances to others’ studies
- Failing to follow legitimate instructions from teachers
- Unexcused absences: 2 times per week
- Being tardy (late) 2 times per week
- Failing to submit homework: 2 times per week
Please be aware that the following rules are considered severe violations and will result in immediate expulsion without any prior written or verbal warning:
- Intentional damage to bulletin board attachments
- Sexual harassment, jokes, or any form of physical contact with teachers
- Soliciting or lending money to a teacher or seeking additional employment from them
- Engaging in romantic relationships with teachers/staff
- Behaviors that threaten or intimidate teachers/staff
In our group classrooms and sections, we maintain a comfortable environment with air-conditioning set at approximately 24-25 °C/ 75-77 °F.
Casual attire such as T-shirts, shorts, sportswear, and slippers are acceptable. However, if you are sensitive to cooler temperatures, we recommend bringing a windbreaker for your comfort.
At PHILINTER ACADEMY, we have a DRESS CODE in place to ensure a respectful and conducive learning environment. As this is a school, it is important to avoid wearing revealing clothes that may distract or offend others.
Regardless of gender, it is expected that clothing should not be overly revealing or form-fitting, revealing the body’s outline.
An English Only Policy (EOP) is enforced in classrooms, school hallways, and rest areas, with a focus on creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere for English language usage. While there is no penalty for using other languages, English is highly encouraged as the primary means of communication in these areas.
Languages other than English are officially allowed and accepted in offices, cafeterias, and dorm rooms, promoting a multicultural and inclusive environment where individuals can comfortably use their mother tongue if desired.
The admission requirements for the IELTS course at PHILINTER are as follows.
If you do not have an official score or are not sure about your English level, please apply for the IELTS INTERVIEW.
- IELTS Intensive, Junior IELTS: English level equivalent to IELTS 3.0 is required.
- IELTS Score Guarantee 5.5: English proficiency of IELTS 4.0 or higher
- IELTS Score Guarantee 6.5: English proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or higher
- IELTS Score Guarantee 7.0: English proficiency of IELTS 6.5 or higher
In many schools, students who have been admitted to the IELTS course often switch from IELTS to the ESL course (because the class is difficult for them).
But that doesn’t happen with PHILINTER.
This is because students are required to take our IELTS INTERVIEW, and those who do not have the ability to keep up with the IELTS class are filtered out.
