Philinter Weekly Test helps students assess and strengthen the specific skills needed for effective conversation in English. We believe that regular testing will help our students improve their speaking abilities and gain confidence in their English language skills
WHEN
- Every Wednesday after 5 p.m. and will last approximately 20 minutes.
WHO
- Current students who are 16 years old and above.
- Weekly tests are mandatory for Intensive ESL students only while it is optional for students in other courses.
WHAT
- Each week, the test will cover one of the following four topics:
(1) Verb Conjugation (3) Verb Usage
(2) Word Forms and Pattern (4) Topic Vocabulary
- The coverage of the test will be shared with the students in advance, at least one week before the test. The difficulty level of the materials will be based on the English proficiency level of each student.

Additional Notes:
- The tests are for strict compliance.
- New students may have the option to take or not to take the test for that week
- The test papers will be given back to the students every Friday afternoon and the buddy teacher should review the answers with the buddy student.
- The teachers take note of the weekly test schedule and ensure their students participate as it is part of their evaluation.
- If a student fails to take the test without valid reasons, it has to be brought up to the buddy teacher.
- If the situation requires further action, it should be escalated to the Academic Coordinator.
FOCUS INDUSTRY is a practical business course designed for individuals currently working in the business field or those who intend to be part of a particular field. We offer 2 hours of customized one-on-one classes that can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Volunteer opportunities are available on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Volunteers can visit orphanages, nursing homes, and other community organizations. To participate, please contact the office or your buddy teacher.

DORMITORY
- The basic electricity bill is 600 pesos per week.
- Up to 15KW of usage is allowed per week. For every additional watt of usage beyond 15KW, students need to pay 25 pesos.
- If two people share a double room, they are allowed to use up to 30KW of electricity per week. For every additional watt of usage beyond 30KW, each student needs to pay 25 pesos.
- If three people share a triple room, they are allowed to use up to 45KW of electricity per week. For every additional watt of usage beyond 45KW, each student needs to pay 25 pesos.
AZON CONDO
- The electricity bill is fixed at 2,000 pesos per week.
- The electricity bill is fixed at 5,000 pesos for four weeks.
Philinter Academy is pleased to announce the launch of its new school nurse service. The school nurse will provide regular health monitoring and emergency response to students.
The school nurse is available for consultation from 11am to 8pm. If you have any health concerns, please do not hesitate to consult with the school nurse.
It is recommended that you inform the school or your agent of any health conditions that you have prior to admission. This will allow the school nurse to provide the best possible care for you.
