Philinter Academy guarantees 19-days classes per month (from the 1st to the last day). If regular class days are insufficient due to national holidays, make-up classes will be held. Additionally, for short-term study abroad of 1 or 2 weeks, classes are held 5 days a week if possible. If you are registering for a short-term study program, please ensure to check in advance whether classes will be held on national holidays.

Philinter’s evening program is mandatory for 2 hours after school, and is intended for Spartan program students. The content of the evening program varies depending on the season, so it is updated regularly.
The contents for March 2024 are as follows.
| Evening Program | |
| REVIEW (19:00-21:00, Mon-Thur) | It is aimed at Intensive ESL students and offers special lectures. During self-study time, teachers respond to students’ questions and provide academic counseling if necessary. The activities of this review period can be passed on to the student’s teacher to maintain academic continuity. |
| IELTS Mission (19:00-21:00, Mon-Fri) | All IELTS course students are required to participate in this program. It is conducted somewhat strictly, and the method of progress varies depending on the teacher’s discretion.
There are about 15 people per classroom. |
| TOEIC Mission (19:00-21:00, Mon-Fri) | Not many students participate in our TOEIC Mission. There is one teacher for every five students, so there is a friendly atmosphere.
The characteristics of each student can be reflected. |
We had a brief interview with the teachers who run the evening program
Teacher Nes (IELTS Mission) :
“The evening program for IELTS mission classes is designed to meet students’ immediate needs with a focus on interactive learning activities. Lectures are supplemented with activities to enhance learning, and regular discussions provide tips and techniques for improving the four key skills. The program targets commonly misunderstood areas of the IELTS exam to ensure students are well-prepared. The emphasis is on correcting mistakes and providing guidance through monitored assignments and class preparations. Despite the two-hour duration, students benefit from in-class monitoring and teacher support, ensuring they never feel alone in their studies.”

Teacher Maru (Review):
“Review sessions reinforce previous learning, enabling students to apply knowledge effectively, covering basic and complex English topics, enhancing communication skills through speaking activities, introducing new topics regularly, providing dedicated time for test preparation, reviewing grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, offering personalized assistance to address individual challenges, and allowing for independent study, facilitating advanced lesson preparation.”

Our latest class schedule is as follows:
- Â General class schedule: Take a placement test and orientation on Monday, and participate in regular classes starting on Tuesday morning. Receive your class schedule from the admin office at 8:00 A.M on Tuesday. Please refer to the course summary for class organization.
- 1, 2 week short-term students: Participate in regular classes starting at 8:50 AM. An admission test is conducted online before admission, so the class schedule is prepared in advance before the student arrives at school.
- Group classes are regularly reorganized: Small group and big group classes are held regularly. Students can get information about new class openings and sign up for classes if it is a subject they are interested in.
- Change of class: Class and teacher changes are possible on Tuesdays and Fridays. However, new students can change classes/instructors at any time for two weeks after admission.
- If the student’s level is very low: 101+ or 101 is a very low level and cannot take group classes. Therefore, for a limited time, we are offering one-on-one classes instead of group classes. 2 hours of group instruction is considered as 1 hour of one-on-one instruction.
- Â Additional classes: You can apply at the admin office. The amount varies depending on the content and type of class.
