Extending or Changing Course Locally
November 17 2023

If you are considering extending your studies at Philinter Academy, you may also want to change to Business or IELTS. Changing courses can offer strong motivation for your studies and, in the long run, contribute to enhancing your English proficiency.

Students engaged in long-term studies at Philinter are also encouraged to explore course changes.

It’s important to note that there is a minimum proficiency level required when changing to another course. If your English proficiency is at a beginner level, you’ll need to put in extra effort to raise your language skills.

Let’s strive for a bit more effort!

Revision of Junior Program
November 17 2023

To enhance academic performance, junior students entering from January 2024 are required to adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Weekly Tests: Conducted every Wednesday, these assessments cover Pattern English, Verb Usage, and Grammar for Speaking.
  2. English Diary: A daily task, students must write an English diary each day. The homeroom teacher (Buddy Teacher) will review and provide feedback the following day.
  3. Vocabulary Development: Depending on the student’s proficiency level, they are expected to memorize 30 to 50 words daily, accumulating 1,000 to 1,500 words over four weeks.

Furthermore, the Buddy Teacher will provide weekly reports to parents, keeping them informed about the student’s academic progress. This comprehensive approach aims to foster continuous improvement and engagement in the learning process.

Student Review

What does Philinter Academy look like according to its graduates?

Natsuha

Rated 4 out of 5
The General ESL course helped students improve various English skills in a balanced way, and I liked that I could make a schedule that suited me by changing my timetable several times. However, I found the first schedule a little strange because it included four vocabulary classes and two classes with the same title taught by different teachers. The teachers are very knowledgeable and they teach in a very kind and careful way. They explained things by rephrasing them many times, which made the lessons very easy to understand. I really appreciate all teachers’ support.
