The conversion table between Philinter Academy’s level and official English score has been updated.
DET (Duolingo English Test) is also included in the official score.
This is because the number of students applying for the DET has increased after 2023, and many leading universities require DET scores from students seeking admission.
This is a revised edition of the Course Summary.
- Added TOEFL and Cambridge to the Junior program. This course will begin after April.
- The recently popular IELTS 16-week program is divided into IELTS 16 weeks for 6.5 and IELTS 16 weeks for 5.5 for your convenience.
- For the year-end and New Year holidays, entry level has been granted for the ‘1, 2-week special program’ for students with a minimum elementary level of 201 or higher, as the classes will focus on conversation.

In both Primary English and Junior English courses, you are required to memorize 20 to 50 words per day, depending on your English proficiency. Just as fresh ingredients are essential for preparing good food, building fluent English requires an abundant vocabulary.
Philinter Academy will continue to emphasize the importance of vocabulary for juniors.
Furthermore, the English diary is composed in the style of a ‘praise diary about yourself.’ To aid students in becoming better individuals in class and life, we encourage them to maintain a praise diary. You are expected to write a diary every day, and its contents will be reviewed and corrected by your writing teacher.
Vocabulary memorization: Memorize 20 to 50 words per day depending on level. Confirmation from your buddy teacher is required.
English diary (praise diary): Written daily and checked by the writing teacher.
To enhance communication and academic support, Philinter Academy introduces QR codes for each course. Students are required to log in to the respective QR CODE (LINE) associated with their course. By joining these groups through QR codes, you gain access to study schedules and various academic-related information.
It’s important to note that students can access their designated QR CODE even before arriving at school, fostering a seamless transition into their academic journey at Philinter Academy.
